An American Airlines pilot reported slamming on its brakes as a ground vehicle crossed in front of it while taxiing at Charlotte Airport. It comes one month after a deadly crash involving an Air Canada plane and fire truck. David Muir reports.

In a horrific car crash, the impact was so intense that it split a KIA Optima in half, sending one half of the vehicle 100 feet down the road. The front of the car ended up at the corner of an intersection in Sterling Heights, Michigan, outside of Detroit. A semi-truck gets stuck on the tracks—and the train is already coming. Video shows the driver scrambling out of the cab seconds before a freight train crashes into the trailer. The truck was weighed down by equipment and couldn’t clear the crossing in time. Authorities say no one was hurt.
